About Winter and Skiing

This is probably the first thing we learn when we start skiing.
Try to catch the English words for: "le chasse neige", "le bout et l'arrière des skis"
Notice the structure he uses to explain how it works! and the image he uses to explain it.
Did you get what the equivalent for "skis parrallèles"??

Did you get the last word about the skiing tips? it's a funny image, and Lena didn't manage to get it.

I agree with Léna for the answers but I heard "French frail position ^^" to translate "position parallèle" or something like that. And as for "the wedge" is concerned I agree with léna but I found "coin" to translate this word in french : so I guess the good word is "edges".

I found a good website for Chris if he wants to get ready for skiing :)

you're the first one to answer and you succeeded in finding "the wedge" for Chasse-neige, and the "tips and the tails" for les pointes avant et arrières des skis, but "les skis parrallèles" is not quite correct, it's "FRENCH ...?.. Position". it's a funny expression actually! who got it??

I saw this video and I tried to catch the English words. Then, I understood "wedge" for "chasse-neige", "tip and the tail of the skis" for "le bout et l'arrière des skis", and "French rail position" to translate "skis parallèles" !

I hope I found the good words !
